Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Govern Cloud & Hosting Services portfolios tracking outcomes milestones risks dependencies and transformation progress.
  • Lead governance forums and executive reviews to drive prioritization accountability and informed decision-making.
  • Establish delivery excellence standards controls and escalation mechanisms across technology initiatives.
  • Partner across engineering operations architecture security finance and procurement to resolve delivery challenges.
  • Develop executive dashboards key performance indicators and reporting frameworks that improve portfolio transparency.
  • Drive process simplification automation and standardization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build organizational capabilities through mentoring training communities of practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead innovation programs ideation workshops and strategic incubation initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Develop and challenge business cases investment proposals and strategic transformation opportunities.
  • Support portfolio planning budgeting forecasting and investment reviews while promoting commercial accountability.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 15 years of extensive experience leading program management portfolio governance or technology transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale technology transformation programs in complex global environments.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management influencing and communication skills across business and technology leaders.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks performance metrics reporting disciplines and delivery excellence standards.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting investment planning and portfolio governance.
  • Ability to translate complex technical initiatives into measurable business outcomes and executive value propositions.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments such as Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working within regulated industries preferably pharmaceutical healthcare or life sciences environments.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence infrastructure platform engineering or enterprise innovation ecosystems.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:1120210.00 -.00 CZK

The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives such as relevant skills competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
