Our client a global technology consulting company with over 87000 employees across 40 countries is seeking talented professionals to join their European operations supporting major digital transformation programmes in the banking and financial services sector.
The Role
We are hiring a C and Pro*C Developer with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and hands-on experience in Linux Unix or Tandem environments. This is a backend engineering role working on critical batch and database-driven applications within a major banking platform where low-level systems knowledge and production reliability are central to the work.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain applications using C and Pro*C
- Build and optimise database-driven applications using SQL and PL/SQL
- Manage memory pointers and file I/O operations
- Work on batch and backend processing systems within a banking environment
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams on requirement analysis and delivery
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional experience in C programming and SQL
- Production experience with Pro*C in a financial or enterprise systems environment
- Solid hands-on experience in Linux Unix or Tandem environments
- Strong grasp of memory management pointers and low-level file I/O
- Experience working on batch and backend processing systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The Details
- Location: Nicosia Cyprus. Fully onsite no remote or hybrid option
- Hours: 8 hour working day Monday to Friday
- Permanent full time
- Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
