Database Administrator (MS SQL Server)

• Install upgrade maintain and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure backups and recovery processes are aligned with company standards.
• Implement improvements in database maintenance security and protection.
• Manage incidents requests and changes within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with project managers developers system administrators and business stakeholders.
• Support both development and production environments.
• Document processes and monitor application performance metrics.

Qualifications :

Components for success. You...

• Have 5 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Have strong experience with MS SQL and T-SQL.
• Bring expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Always-ON Availability groups.
• Posses strong understanding of DMVs Extended Events SQL Profiler and Query.
• Have experience managing Azure-hosted SQL instances.
• Understand SQL backup and recovery strategies.
• Have solid knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Combine strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Take ownership of your work and can effectively manage competing priorities.

Youll get extra points for...

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.

As part of a team of experienced system administrators application administrators and database specialists located across Bulgaria Cyprus Estonia and Poland youll play a key role in maintaining and improving services used throughout the business. Reporting to the Corporate IT Application Manager youll work on a variety of technologies while contributing to projects that have a global impact.
