Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing online sports betting and iGaming operator for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join its Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced highly regulated industry and support the companys compliance and AML functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Compliance Officer in preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports for submission to the National Betting Authority (NBA).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departmentsincluding Customer Support Sportsbook and Marketingon day-to-day Compliance AML and regulatory matters.
- Maintain and update internal policies procedures and manuals in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Monitor local and international regulatory developments impacting the online betting industry.
- Assist with the review and enhancement of the Companys AML Risk-Based Approach framework.
- Review and update the Companys Terms & Conditions to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in an AML or Compliance role preferably within the online betting iGaming Forex Brokerage or EMI sectors.
- Professional AML or Compliance certification (e.g. CySEC Advanced/AML ICA ACAMS or AGRC) will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Experience using AML/KYC screening tools including PEP sanctions and adverse media screening platforms.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
