Position: Commercial Legal Counsel

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial employment partnership international business and corporate finance matters
• Advise executives on a broad range of commercial legal issues providing accurate and timely guidance
• Lead negotiations for commercial agreements including game supplier contracts payment service provider agreements licence agreements NDAs and marketing agreements
• Advise on intellectual property rights and licensing matters
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on jurisdiction-specific matters including litigation enforcement and licence applications
• Support the development and delivery of legal training for team members and business stakeholders
• Contribute to drafting and implementing company policies and procedures
• Support mergers and acquisitions in collaboration with the management team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree (LLB); an LLM is an advantage
• Admission to the Bar in the candidates jurisdiction of origin
• Ideally at least 4 years of legal experience
• Proven experience working as an in-house Legal Counsel
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
