This role requires prior experience supporting a live trading environment specifically FIX trade execution flows and market data.
Our client is a multi asset trading provider headquartered in the US giving banks brokerages and hedge funds the technology to route and execute trades. Their platform is live with over 200 entities worldwide and built around a low latency environment with integrations to the worlds leading execution venues. Their clients have moved steadily into digital assets which the platform now supports around the clock and this role sits within that growth.
Your new role
You will be the technical first responder for clients taking issues by email phone and live chat under defined SLAs and triaging them across the network operating system and application layers. Much of the work is in the detail: analysing logs and FIX messages to identify the root cause of trading and quoting issues. You will configure client setups covering liquidity provider details routing logic platform connectivity and prime broker give ups and take part in upgrades and migrations of the core software running system checkouts afterwards. You will also develop subject matter expertise in digital assets and become the reference point for the team.
What you bring
Two to five years supporting clients in financial services or fintech with hands on experience of trade execution flows or market data distribution. A working understanding of the FIX protocol Windows at power user level and a basic grounding in TCP/IP networking and SQL such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Excellent written and spoken communication and a sharp eye for detail with the composure to handle several client conversations at once and make good decisions under pressure. MetaTrader 4 or 5 experience is a bonus.
The team will teach you their platform. The trading knowledge needs to be there already.
Your working week
The first eight weeks are Monday to Friday while you train. After that you work five days a week four weekdays plus either Saturday or Sunday from 9am to 5pm on a rotating schedule. Your weekday off is set in advance so you always know when it falls and for two months of every year you have no weekend shift at all.
What you will enjoy
Competitive bonus plan private health insurance and provident fund hybrid working between home and the Limassol office lunch provided onsite every day and a monthly wellness programme subscription. Above all a team of high calibre engineers working on global infrastructure.
