Manufacturing Process Engineer Jr (Cost Improvement Projects) Temporary 12 months

Job Summary
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Identify and implement process improvements to increase the organizations agility and competitiveness applying best practices in project management and operational excellence and complying with applicable procedures and regulations. Projects may include continuous improvement cost reduction automation digital transformation among others.
Main Responsibilities
Process improvement and optimization:
- Analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute optimization projects assigned to them.
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate improvements applying design of experiments statistical analysis and digital tools.
Documentation and regulatory compliance:
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory changes.
- Maintain records based on historical data research and field studies.
EHS (Environment Health and Safety):
- Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS policies.
- Implement strategies internal controls and training to improve EHS performance.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives in safety and environmental protection.
Collaboration and leadership:
- Coordinate with internal teams and AbbVies external network to execute projects.
- Apply project management and operational excellence principles.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Industrial Production Industrial Design Engineering or a related field or 80% completion of the degree program and at least one year of experience in the medical industry.
Preferred: Masters degree or certifications in continuous improvement digital transformation Six Sigma EHS Lean Manufacturing artificial intelligence or similar areas.
Intermediate English B1 CEFR.
EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year in manufacturing process engineering or similar environments.
