Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements
Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes
Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and improve reporting accuracy
Coordinate with external auditors and support internal controls
Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and reporting processes
Preferred Background
5 years experience in accounting or financial reporting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
Experience working in SaaS or subscription-based companies
Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting systems
Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
Experience supporting PE-backed or high-growth companies preferred
CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred but not required
Nice to Have
Experience with SaaS tools such as Ramp YayPay Salesforce
Experience supporting M&A integrations
Systems implementation experience
