Role Mission

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design build and optimize scalable data solutions that enable business decision-making. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines ETL/ELT processes and data models while ensuring data quality availability and performance within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.

• Design and maintain Data Warehouse models.

• Develop Python scripts to ingest data from APIs.

• Automate data ingestion transformation and validation processes.

• Manage and optimize large datasets using Google BigQuery.

• Integrate multiple data sources using tools such as Fivetran Supermetrics or similar platforms.

• Ensure data quality consistency and reliability across data pipelines.

• Collaborate with Analytics BI and Engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

• Identify opportunities to improve data architecture performance and operational efficiency.

Skills & experience

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.

• Advanced SQL skills including complex transformations and query optimization.

• Experience developing Python scripts for API integrations and data ingestion.

• Solid experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran Supermetrics or similar.

• General knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem particularly data storage and processing services.

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.

• Experience with dimensional data modeling including Star Schema Snowflake Schema fact tables and dimension tables
