Reporting & BI Analyst

As a member of the O-I Data & Analytics Hub this role is responsible for delivering supporting and enhancing O-Is global reporting and business intelligence solutions across standardized ad hoc and self-service reporting. The position leverages Power BI SAP data (including BW and HANA) SQL data modeling analytics platforms and strong business process knowledge to provide effective reporting capabilities and end-user support. Working closely with business leaders and technology teams this highly visible role drives the adoption and continuous improvement of BI solutions with success measured by the value delivered and overall end-user satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design develop and maintain Power BI reports semantic models and datasets.
• Partner with business stakeholders data owners stewards and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
• Establish and follow standards for data governance KPI definitions report design performance and usability.
• Support the full reporting lifecycle from ad-hoc requests to standardized enterprise solutions.
• Monitor data quality troubleshoot issues and ensure reporting solutions remain reliable secure and scalable.
• Provide user support training and advocacy for BI tools and self-service analytics.
• Create documentation testing plans and technical specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying innovative solutions and adopting industry best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems Business Analytics or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in BI reporting data analytics data modeling or data management.
• Strong experience with Power BI SQL dashboard development and data visualization.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes lakehouses data warehouses and cloud platforms.
• Experience building scalable semantic models and datasets.
• Strong communication problem-solving storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric Databricks Azure AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Python predictive analytics and enterprise database technologies.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Position reports to the Reporting & Analytics Lead.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimal travel required for this position - less than 5%.

Hybrid Work Model: We provide a flexible work arrangement requiring employees to be on-site at our office in Centro Comercial Viva Envigado for 2 days per week with the remaining 3 days working from home.
