About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Analyst to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our software products. This role will be responsible for designing and executing functional and automated tests identifying defects and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Execute functional regression integration and end-to-end testing.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test cases test scenarios and test plans.
- Perform API testing to validate functionality reliability and data integrity.
- Identify document and track software defects using Jira.
- Analyze test results investigate failures and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Execute regression test suites to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide clear documentation and reporting of testing activities defects and results.
- 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing with hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong experience with Playwright and automated testing.
- Solid knowledge of functional testing and regression testing.
- Experience performing API testing and validating REST APIs.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect/project management tools.
- Understanding of software development and QA methodologies including Agile/Scrum.
- Good understanding of end-to-end testing and software quality practices.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and how automated tests integrate into development pipelines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools such as Postman for API testing.
- Experience working with automated testing frameworks beyond Playwright.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology environment.
