PMO IT LATAM
Job Summary
The role reports to the CIO LATAM and provides critical oversight to regional Centers of Excellence country IT teams and business stakeholders through a single authoritative view of strategic initiatives risks resources budgets timelines and value realization.
**Responsibilities:**
- Establish implement and direct the LATAM IT Project Management Office across 12 countries enforcing standardized governance portfolio visibility prioritization discipline execution quality and benefits tracking.
- Establish and operate the LATAM IT PMO governance model including methodology project lifecycle approval forums escalation protocols standards and portfolio routines with mandatory compliance across all regions.
- Maintain a single authoritative source of truth for the regional IT portfolio across countries Centers of Excellence and strategic initiatives ensuring complete visibility and accuracy of scope status risks dependencies budget and benefits.
- Direct portfolio prioritization and demand governance in partnership with the CIO LATAM regional leaders and Country IT Managers ensuring that resources and investments are rigorously aligned with business value compliance requirements and regional strategy.
- Enforce execution discipline across waterfall agile and hybrid projects holding project managers and initiative owners accountable for planning milestones risk management issue resolution and change control.
- Deliver executive reporting dashboards and portfolio updates to LATAM leadership translating project information into clear strategic decisions trade-offs risks and required actions.
- Oversee project financials Capex/Opex vendor commitments forecast accuracy and benefits realization in partnership with Finance Procurement and initiative owners.
- Advance PMO capability across the region by standardizing tools templates KPIs lessons learned and project management practices establishing higher delivery maturity standards across all teams.
- Coordinate cross-country dependencies vendor engagement and stakeholder alignment to ensure predictability transparency accountability and value delivery across the LATAM IT organization.
Qualifications :
- 8 years in PMO project portfolio management IT governance or transformation leadership preferably in LATAM and multinational environments.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Engineering Finance or related fields.
- MBA preferred.
- PMP PMI-ACP PRINCE2 Scrum Agile or ITIL certifications desirable.
- Spanish fluent and English intermediate (mandatory). Portuguese is a plus.
- Proven experience leading multi-country project governance executive portfolio reporting demand prioritization budget follow-up vendor coordination and delivery methodology standardization.
