The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and delivery of mission-critical electrical infrastructure for hyperscale colocation and enterprise data centers. This individual will play a key role in developing reliable resilient and scalable electrical systems that support the demanding operational requirements of data center successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery from planning and conceptual design through construction support and ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities including medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution electrical calculations studies specifications and construction and coordinate critical power infrastructure including utility service entrances substations switchgear generators UPS systems PDUs transformers and grounding load calculations short-circuit analyses coordination studies arc flash evaluations and reliability electrical designs for redundancy architectures including N N1 2N and distributed redundant electrical designs with structural civil mechanical architectural and telecommunications in design reviews quality assurance processes and technical construction administration activities including RFIs submittal reviews field observations and issue with commissioning support and startup activities for mission-critical with clients contractors vendors and project stakeholders throughout project current with industry standards emerging technologies and best practices related to mission-critical power QualificationsBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.5 years of electrical engineering experience including direct involvement indata center or mission-critical facility designing medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution of standby power generation systems UPS systems switchgear transformers and grounding preparing engineering calculations technical specifications and construction with electrical design and analysis software such as ETAP SKM PowerTools EasyPower Revit AutoCAD or similar with power system studies electrical coordination and arc flash communication and interdisciplinary coordination to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project -level proficiency in English and Spanish QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license Colombian professional registration or ability to obtain supporting hyperscale colocation enterprise or large-scale cloud data center of U.S. and international codes and standards including NEC NFPA 70E IEEE IEC and applicable local with data center commissioning integrated systems testing (IST) and operational readiness with BIM/Revit workflows and multidisciplinary coordination working with international clients and globally distributed project We OfferOpportunity to work on cutting-edge data center and mission-critical projects for leading global and innovative engineering environment focused on technical development training and career advancement compensation and benefits to multidisciplinary projects across diverse markets and international is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity inclusion innovation and professional excellence in the workplace.
