Job Summary
About the Job
The FP&A Analyst at NIQ is responsible for supporting financial planning activities and providing accurate timely insights to enable informed decision making. This role requires strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset to analyze data resolve issues and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Working closely with Commercial and Finance teams the analyst helps improve visibility streamline processes and maintain operational clarity. The position also emphasizes
continuous improvement encouraging the identification of efficiencies and the enhancement of financial planning capabilities to support overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Tracking & Performance Monitoring
Track revenue performance against targets ensuring timely visibility of gaps trends and key drivers impacting results. Ensure revenue is accurately recognized in compliance with US GAAP standards.
Revenue Planning & Forecasting
Support the Finance Business Partner in planning and forecasting processes by updating models consolidating inputs and validating data. Assist in variance analysis and maintain accurate and up-to-date forecast assumptions.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports to provide clarity on business performance ensuring data quality and consistency. Identify inefficiencies and lead improvements through automation standardization and process simplification.
Business Partnering
Collaborate closely with Commercial teams to understand pipeline generation validate assumptions and align on performance expectations. Provide visibility on risks and opportunities ensuring alignment between Commercial and Finance.
Data Management & Accuracy
Ensure integrity consistency and reconciliation of data across systems reporting tools and planning outputs. Perform regular validations resolve discrepancies and maintain alignment across data sources.
Leadership Exposure:
Local Commercial Teams Managing Directors by Industry/Business and Finance Leadership
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Engineer or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in financial planning and analysis preferably in a similar industry or commercial finance role.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modeling and experience with financial software and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel Powerpoint Word etc.) PoweBI One Stream Microsoft Dynamics.
- Analytical Abilities: Candidates are required to demonstrate advanced big data management capabilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to clearly present information and effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Language: Advanced English level is required.
