Role Overview
As a Software Development Engineer on the Digital Origins team you will help guide the evolution and delivery of the next generation of content creation and optimization tools.
Your work will directly impact how content is onboarded from studios and delivered to customer-facing applications across web and mobile platforms for multiple brand and editorial campaigns.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise system design capability and collaboration to build compelling features that enhance the overall digital shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop well-structured scalable and testable code using industry best practices
- Lead planning forecasting and execution of project deliverables
- Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through monitoring alerting and operational best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with product and business goals
- Mentor and support junior engineers helping them grow technically
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of backend services and APIs
- Support business-critical systems used by internal and external customers
Required Skills
Core Technical Skills
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Required
- Strong development experience
- JavaScript expertise
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Experience with Java
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- EC2
- Redis
- DynamoDB
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- TypeScript familiarity
- AngularJS knowledge
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with PHP
- Knowledge of React
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience designing and developing APIs
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of web development experience
- Strong experience with modern web frameworks ( AngularJS React)
- 5 years of experience building and deploying systems in cloud environments
- Experience working with AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda Redis Elasticsearch)
- Strong expertise in front-end technologies:
- JavaScript
- CSS
- HTML

- Rotation: 1 week every 68 weeks
- Response Time: Within 5 minutes
- May occur outside standard working hours
- Weekend and holiday coverage required (rare)
- On-call support for systems managed by the team
Equipment Requirement
- MacBook required
- Must have near-immediate admin privileges
- Engineers must be able to install applications or software independently without IT delays
