Required
1 years of experience in deskside desktop field or end user support within a business environment.
Strong hands on troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoints standard business applications peripherals and user access issues.
Experience providing in person support to end users including onboarding break/fix and workplace technology support.
Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English and a customer focused approach to support delivery.
Practical hands on experience performing PC technician deskside L1.5 or field support activities
Ability to follow established enterprise processes and escalate issues appropriately rather than developing local fixes outside approved support models
Preferred
Experience supporting engineering or project delivery environments
Experience support conference room and collaboration technologies
Experience support remote engineering workspace environments
Familiarity with endpoint lifecycle coordination including provisioning refresh and disposal workflows
Experience working with managed service providers supporting onsite delivery environments in growth locations

Job Title
The Digital Operations Technician Colombia provides hands on onsite IT support for users and workplace technology supporting our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) engineering hub in Bogota.
The role delivers in person support for endpoint devices workplace technology onboarding readiness activities conference room environments and infrastructure coordination support helping ensure stable and responsive Digital Operations services for a rapidly growing engineering location.
The position will work closely with the Digital Operations Site Lead and global Digital Operations & Security teams to resolve incidents fulfill service requests maintain device readiness support engineering workspace enablement activities and assist with scaling onboarding requirements aligned with workforce growth.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical troubleshooting capability coordination skills and a customer focused support approach in a bilingual engineering environment.
This role is intended to operate as a hands on PC Tech / onsite support role focused on practical user support device readiness approved software support workplace technology and local smarthands activities.
Principal Responsibilities:
End User Support
Provide in person support for desktops laptops monitors peripherals printers and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software device and access related issues for local users.
Support new hire onboarding workstation setup user moves and break fix activities
Deliver timely user updates and ensure support activities are properly documented and managed through our approved ITSM processes.
Assist users transitioning to approved remote engineering workspace environments
Assist users with approved software access installation and troubleshooting through established enterprise tools and support pathways
Escalate application packaging access or engineering software issues to the appropriate enterprise support teams rather than creating local workarounds
Workplace Technology & Site Support
Support conference room and collaboration technology including basic meeting room troubleshooting and readiness checks.
Assist with workstation setup hot desk support office moves and shared workspace readiness.
Provide local smart hands assistance for infrastructure network telecom or vendor led onsite activities as required.
Coordinate with regional and global support teams to ensure smooth handling of issues requiring escalation.
Support office restacks desk moves equipment relocations and workspace readiness activities
Escort and coordinate onsite third party vendors such as print cabling telecom or workplace technology providers as required
Device Lifecycle & Logistics
Support deployment provisioning refresh rebuild recovery and replacement of endpoint devices.
Assist with asset handling activities including receipt setup collection return and local coordination of hardware movements.
Assist with maintaining safety stock readiness expectations aligned with site growth planning
Support setup of standard endpoint builds and approved engineering workstation configurations delivered through enterprise endpoint management processes
Help maintain local readiness for onboarding replacements/refresh and break-fix needs through proper handling of available stock and assigned equipment
Engineering Hub Support Activities
Support onboarding readiness for engineering workforce expansion initiatives
Assist with rollout support activities for remote engineering workspace delivery models
Provide onsite coordination assistance supporting infrastructure refresh and workplace technology initiatives
Support communication between site users and Digital Operations & Security teams
Assist users with adoption of approved remote engineering workspace capabilities and escalate issues through established support channels
Avoid creating or supporting unmanaged local technology workarounds outside approved Digital Operations standards
Service Provider Coordination Support
Assist coordination of third party service providers delivering onsite IT services
Support escalation routing for issues requiring global intervention
Help improve responsiveness of onsite support activities through structured coordination with service partners
Business Continuity Support
Support execution readiness for local business continuity procedures
Provide backup coordination support aligned with site resilience expectations
Assist with continuity readiness activities coordinated by the Digital Operations Site Lead.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
Perform first line diagnosis and resolution of onsite IT issues
Identify recurring support challenges affecting user experience or onboarding readiness
Support consistent documentation and support practices aligned with enterprise standards
Contribute to improving workplace technology stability across the site environment
Health Safety & Compliance
Demonstrate commitment to health safety and compliance requirements applicable to the office or site environment.
Follow company processes for security asset management access and technology handling.
Complete all required site or office inductions and work in accordance with local HSE expectations.
