Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the IBTT International Banking Technology and Transformation ensuring specific individual goals plans initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures. This role will support on-going Power BI SSIS development and maintenance Windows Server Infrastructure support as well as strategic objectives of Cloud data consumption enablement and migration from on-premise to Cloud technology. Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge. Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices tools usage common components and patterns. Support and maintain PowerBI reports dashboards datasets workspaces and data connectivity across all Caribbean teams/departments. Design develop test and deploy SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes Develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures Support and monitor server health performance and capacity utilization Support patching upgrade security and software currency remediation activities Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabanks Values its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational compliance AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
