Customer Supply Chain Manager
Role Summary

The Customer Supply Chain Manager oversees and enhances retail sales operations serving as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for the retail order desk and master data administration. Reporting to the Director of Retail Sales this remote role is responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy in purchase order processing coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) and internal fulfillment partners and managing end-to-end inventory tracking and EDI processes. The successful candidate will streamline cross-functional communication between sales fulfillment and finance while upholding a customer-first mindset to drive the organizations retail operations forward.

Role Responsibilities
Order Desk Administration and Management
  • Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the Retail Order Desk in a customer-facing role.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the order desk.
  • Set standards for First Response Time (FRT) with customers and partners.
  • Accept and acknowledge purchase orders with 100% accuracy into the order management system.
  • Coordinate with 3PL fulfillment partners and internal fulfillment teams.
  • Maintain and track inventory levels while providing analysis and insights against the demand plan.
  • Coordinate inventory with supply chain stakeholders.
  • Manage all aspects of the EDI customer portal utilizing a high-level knowledge of systems implementation and coordinating the following documentation: EDI docsand 945.
  • Coordinate with finance for sending doc 810 and corresponding invoices.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the order tracking spreadsheet ensuring clear cross-functional communication between sales fulfillment and finance.
  • Coordinate sample shipments internally and between broker partners.
  • Manage cross-functional communication between 3PL and Sales teams.
Data Administration and Management
  • GS1 and Global Imaging:
    • Maintain all attributes and manage GTINs in the GS1 system.
    • Maintain all product attributes within Product Hub on SPINS.
    • Maintain all product attributes and manage image requests with the IX-One network.
  • Data Sync and Master Data Gatekeeping: Ensure accurate data synchronization across One World Sync DataSync SPINS ProductHub and Syndigo.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate monthly reports conduct ad hoc reporting and coordinate data internally and externally with finance and broker partners.
  • Trade Spending: Partner with the finance team to organize and coordinate incoming trade deductions.
Inventory Planning and Demand Plan Management
  • Assist with inventory tracking planning and cross-functional communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for fulfillment and 3PL partnerships regarding customer orders.
  • Manage final mile coordination and Proof of Delivery (POD) collection.
  • Manage pallet tracking sourcing and maintenance of CHEP and CPC program tracking requirements.
Other Duties as Required
  • Assist with tradeshows by coordinating the shipments of sales assets and samples.
  • Source suppliers for tradeshow assets transport and storage.
  • Develop and coordinate sales assets with the internal design team.
  • Provide on-site assistance as needed at retailer meetings or brand-owned manufacturing facilities (travel required).
Required Skills & Experience (Hard Skills)
  • Prior knowledge of large Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) retailers and experience in CRM data management email automation production fulfillment ERP/EDI systems and shipping.
  • Demonstrated experience working with major retailers and distributors specifically: Walmart Target Kroger KeHE UNFI and International Markets.
  • Expertise in EDI documents ().
  • In-depth knowledge of specific supply chain and data platforms:
    • SPS Commerce portal
    • Cin7
    • Quickbooks Online
    • Shopify
    • Customer portals
    • Trade planning software (such as Crisp & Confido)
    • GS1 system (GTIN management)
    • SPINS ProductHub
    • IX-One network
    • One World Sync
    • DataSync
    • Syndigo
  • Experience with pallet program administration (including CHEP and CPC tracking).
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
