About This Role:
We are hiring a Senior Demand Planner for a growing omnichannel consumer products business. You will own the end-to-end demand planning process combining company and category targets with SKU-level forecasting to translate historical sales seasonality market trends promotions product lifecycle and wholesale demand into accurate forecasts inventory requirements and purchasing recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain SKU- category- and company-level demand forecasts using historical sales seasonality trends promotions product lifecycle and other relevant demand drivers.
Reconcile top-down commercial targets with bottom-up SKU forecasts identify gaps or changes in demand patterns and monitor forecast accuracy bias and other key demand planning KPIs.
Translate forecasts into inventory requirements and purchasing recommendations while accounting for lead times minimum order quantities order constraints and inventory targets.
Partner with Supply Chain to improve product availability while reducing stockouts excess inventory and obsolete inventory and supporting efficient working-capital management.
Own the demand planning component of the S&OP process partnering with Finance Sales Merchandising and Supply Chain to align commercial expectations forecast assumptions and operational requirements.
Build and maintain forecasting models dashboards and reporting; ensure sales inventory and product data are accurate; and present key demand changes risks opportunities and recommended actions to leadership.
Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and planning processes through data analysis testing and performance review.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Advanced Excel and Google Sheets
ERP BI demand planning forecasting or inventory planning systems
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in demand planning forecasting supply chain inventory planning or a related analytical function.
Proven experience working within an omnichannel product business preferably across eCommerce consumer products retail and/or wholesale channels.
Strong understanding of SKU-level demand forecasting and inventory planning including seasonality product lifecycle promotions lead times and supply constraints.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills with experience working with large datasets forecasting models reporting and ERP BI or planning systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into practical inventory and purchasing decisions identify trends and challenge assumptions.
Strong cross-functional and English communication skills with experience working with Finance Sales Merchandising Supply Chain and leadership stakeholders.
Highly analytical commercially minded detail-oriented proactive accountable and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday during US Pacific Time business hours (PST/PDT). Candidates must be comfortable working a full-time schedule aligned with the US-based team for forecasting S&OP planning meetings and cross-functional coordination.
