Role summary
Location: Guang Zhou
On-site Intern
As a software development intern you will join the Payoneer Payments Guangdong technical team participating in the design development deployment and the lifecycle maintenance of the companys cross-border payment system fin-tech infrastructure and cyber security platform.
What youll do
- Participate in the design development and optimization of Fin-Tech
- Contribute to projects that may involve data center management microservices governance and cloud-native architecture
- Assist in research and prototyping in areas such as big data processing AI/ML applications security platform and system performance optimization.
- Write clean maintainable and well-documented code while following agile development practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with at least one of the following: Java or Python.
- Basic knowledge of data structures algorithms and software design principles.
- Interested in cross-border payments and Fin Tech infrastructure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated curious and eager to learn new technologies and domains.
