Position target:
This position is collaboration and link between DSVs customers DSVs business functions and the regional and global IT departments reporting into the Team Lead of Blue Yonder (BY) WMS Delivery.
Tasks and responsibilities:
STRATEGIC / TACTICAL
Deliver end to end Change Requests (CR) for WMS configuration and reports from intake and impact analysis through implementation and closure
Establish and enforce CR governance standards and best practices (scope of control estimation approval delivery and handover)
Enforce standards for WMS configuration and reporting (naming conventions versioning data definitions performance considerations)
Ensure CR delivery adheres to ITSM security compliance and audit requirements
Collaborate with the BY WMS Core team and other relevant DSV departments to support the delivery of business requirements with the standard DSV warehouse systems solutions and identify solutions for potential gaps
Conduct IT Solution Reviews with BY WMS Core team to maximize standardization and reusing existing solutions
Mentor junior team members in change management discipline solution thinking and delivery best practices
EXECUTION
Act as a Senior IT implementer in delivering change requests into BY WMS
Analyse business requirements and manage the implementation of IT solutions in collaboration with business owner/account manager
Design modify and validate WMS reports and queries ensuring accuracy performance and usability for operational users
Ensure changes are properly tested in non production environments including regression testing for existing warehouse flows and reports
Develop test plans scenarios and secure successful execution
Apply 4-eyes principle to validate other team members development works before releasing changes to production
Execute release and deployment activities following change management and release controls to minimize operational disruption
Continue to enhance skills through continuing education
Coordinate information & activities to ensure customer satisfaction in delivering warehouse management solutions
Education and skills:
GENERIC REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in software development and fluency in the SDLC
Good SQL command language and knowledge of relational Database
Knowledge in writing PL/SQL queries including tuning and optimizing poor performing queries
Capable of taking ownership of and implementing the change requests including the end-user contact analysis design and documentation
Proven ability to maintain and implement high quality reliable WMS solutions
Demonstrate thoroughness in system design and system testing with a minimum supervision
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Windows shell scripting
Knowledge of Source/Versioning control
Experience with EDI standards (e.g. EDIFACT XML ODETTE ANSI X12) is preferred
Knowledge in Jasper Reports or SSRS is preferred
Knowledge in Blue Yonders solutions is preferred (e.g. JDA Dispatcher Discrete)

Minimal work experience:
5 years of experience in application or software development with at least 2 years in system analysis/design
Experience in transportation logistics or supply chain management within the 3PL industry is highly preferred
