Cochlear Medical Device (Chengdu) Co. Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cochlear Co. China. It was established in Tianfu New Area Chengdu Sichuan Province in September 2017. As Cochlears only manufacturing site in China it mainly produces cochlear implants and sound processors providing professional assistance to the hearing impaired in China and other markets

In order to help Cochlear bring products to market that help people with hearing loss we are recruiting to support the new manufacturing site in Chengdu China.

This role will be based in Chengdu this role youll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlears successful history by applying your knowledge and experiences.

The purpose of the role is to perform indirect and direct procurement activities from new product development / projects through to the ongoing supply of quality goods and services whilst delivering maximum value for Cochlear along with the achievement of set key performance indicators (KPIs). Key to the role is the ability to effectively partner with both internal and external stakeholders take overall accountability for procurement activities for the assigned product portfolio categories and suppliers. The role will also seek to develop implement and execute procurement processes and strategies to optimise and continually improve the performance of the Procurement function in delivering Cochlears strategy.

Accountability 主要职责1: Procurement.采购

Responsible for overall supplier delivery management for assigned major suppliers product portfolios and categories.

负责分配的主要供应商产品组合和类别的整体供应商交付管理

Responsible for supplier performance measurement including but not limited to such measures as delivery quality capacity cost etc.

负责供应商绩效的测量包括但不限于交货质量产能成本等方面的指标

Responsible for identifying and achieving cost reduction opportunities to set targets and timelines.

负责识别并实现降低成本的机会设定目标和时间表

Responsible for supplier issues resolution for underperformance or complaints from stakeholders.

负责解决供应商问题包括处理来自利益相关者的绩效不佳或投诉

Responsible for assessing reducing or eliminating supplier risks.

负责评估降低或消除供应商风险

Responsible for supplier and internal stakeholder relationship management and establishing appropriate communication channels.

New Product Development and Project Support 新产品开发和项目支持

Supporting Strategic Sourcing in providing procurement and commercial support during all phases of product development and projects as requested.

Responsible for procurement activities during product development handover and launch such as but not limited to supplier capability and production readiness supplier performance management order placement and stock management forecasting and contract execution.

Responsible for supplier performance measurement communication issue and risk management during and post launch phases.

Supporting Strategic Sourcing by ensuring that Procurement are conducting all necessary activities to required milestones within new product developments or projects and to support periodic reporting in line with project requirements.

Responsible for the support and execution of non-product development site specific projects as required.

Responsible for influencing internal stakeholders and customers to adopt and comply with strategic sourcing and procurement management policies processes and systems.

Responsible for working cross functionally in developing solutions engaging and influencing multiple business units for a better outcome.

Responsible for implementing within SS&P a customer service mindset with internal Cochlear stakeholders to increase the likelihood of engagement adoption and adherence to SS&P management policies processes and systems.

Responsible for providing commercial advice and related considerations to assist internal Cochlear teams in relation to supplier and contract management.

Responsible for continually identifying developing improving and implementing SS&P processes to improve overall performance.

Minimum最低要求:

Bachelor degree and above in a relevant discipline (business management legal commercial)

本科及以上学历商业管理法律商务

Fluent in English and Mandarin language both written and oral

中英文口语流利良好的书写能力

5-8 years procurement experiences with in manufacturing industry

5-8 年的制造行业采购工作经验

Demonstrated Procurement Experience in a commercial environment incorporating project service delivery technology or supplier management

Astute in the management and operation of suppliers with proven ability to assess the capability suppliers and commercial proposals

Sound understanding of supplier contracts and the initiative to seek timely advice on technical and operational perspectives from both internal and external sources to ensure the most favourable commercial outcomes

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
