IoT Embedded Technical Expert RBLC

1. IoT Connectivity Solution Selection

Lead the selection of IoT connectivity solutions for smart home products (Wi-Fi/BLE/Matter/Thread) drive the implementation of the Matter protocol as a priority and formulate the Matter access roadmap and timeline for products. Collaborate with other technical experts to define device-cloud communication architecture (MQTT/CoAP) data models and OTA upgrade solutions.

1. Technical Collaboration & Implementation

Act as the technical interface to liaise with suppliers facilitate the development and debugging of IoT connectivity solutions. Review technical proposals schematic diagrams and firmware design; formulate test plans and acceptance criteria to control delivery quality.

1. Embedded Development & Debugging

Take charge of module docking protocol adaptation network configuration process OTA implementation and other core modules. Troubleshoot communication anomalies disconnection/reconnection failures abnormal power consumption and other issues and identify root causes.

1. Smart Home Platform Integration

Drive product integration with in-house IoT platforms and third-party platforms including but not limited to Mi Home Tuya Apple HomeKit etc. Build cross-platform interconnection capabilities centered on Matter; coordinate with cloud platform engineers to complete joint debugging of device-end and cloud-end interfaces.

1. Project Delivery Management

Establish milestone schedules for IoT connectivity development track key project nodes identify potential risks in advance and drive resolution. Coordinate internal and external teams and organize technical reviews and problem-solving workshops.

1. Technology Pre-research

Keep track of the evolution of smart home IoT protocols (e.g. Matter) and updates of mainstream third-party platforms; accumulate technical specifications and best practices for IoT connectivity.

Qualifications :

1. Education & Work Experience

Bachelors degree or above majoring in Electronics Communication Computer Science or related fields; minimum 5 years of embedded/IoT development experience with proven experience in end-to-end IoT connectivity development for at least 2 mass-produced smart hardware products.

1. Matter Protocol Expertise

In-depth understanding of Matter specifications and application-layer protocols; hands-on experience in Matter device development or certification; familiar with the Thread protocol and Border Router networking principles.

1. IoT Protocol Stack Proficiency

Proficient in Wi-Fi BLE and Zigbee with practical integration experience preferred; familiar with access specifications of mainstream third-party smart home platforms; prior experience in Matter cross-platform interconnection is a plus.

1. Embedded Development Competence

Skilled in ARM Cortex-M RTOS (FreeRTOS/RT-Thread) development; familiar with UART/SPI/I2C peripheral drivers MQTT/CoAP protocols TLS encrypted communication and OTA solution design; experienced in Wi-Fi/BLE/Thread module selection; basic knowledge of PCBA production process and DFM design principles.

1. Technical Management Capability

Proven experience in managing external technical teams capable of efficiently pushing project delivery and maintaining the correctness and independence of technical solutions.

1. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in low-power hardware product design and wireless product certification is highly preferred.
