We are seeking a highly skilled T&T PMO Start-up Lead with a strong background in software engineering to support the initiation governance and execution of transformation programs. This role combines technical expertise with program coordination ensuring effective start-up structure and delivery of projects within Technology & Transformation (T&T) environments.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in software development strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges while establishing project governance and standards.
What youll do:
- Contribute to software development projects focusing on coding testing and debugging complex and critical components.
- Support the start-up and governance of programs and projects ensuring alignment with scope timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design discussions requirements definition and code reviews.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Assist in solving complex technical challenges researching and proposing innovative solutions.
- Support the definition of software requirements technical specifications and delivery frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues working closely with operations and support teams.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth.
- Support PMO activities such as project tracking reporting and process standardization.
Who you are:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically 5 years of relevant experience including 2 years in a similar technical or program coordination role.
- Strong experience in software engineering and development practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
- Excellent coding debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management frameworks.
- Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical and program challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field (a plus).
- Experience in PMO environments program start-up or transformation initiatives (T&T).
- Certifications or training in project management Agile or software engineering practices.
