Project Manager Customer Delivery

Job Summary**

As a Project Manager Customer Delivery you will be responsible for the successful planning execution and closure of customer projects ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers fostering strong relationships and driving customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure adhering to FLSmidth project management methodologies.
* Develop comprehensive project plans including scope schedule budget resource allocation and risk management strategies.
* Manage project teams including internal resources and external contractors providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
* Communicate regularly with customers providing status updates managing expectations and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
* Monitor project progress identify deviations from the plan and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
* Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed-upon budget and schedule proactively identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns or delays.
* Conduct regular project reviews both internally and with customers to assess performance and gather feedback.
* Manage project documentation including contracts change orders progress reports and close-out reports.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within project management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Business Administration or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably within the heavy industrial mining or capital equipment sector.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex customer projects on time and within budget.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
* Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project Primavera).
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages relevant to FLSmidths global operations is a plus.
