Clinical Trials ImportExport Operations Specialist

• Be the point of contact with customs authorities courier companies and carriers for different issues and negotiation
• Stay abreast of changes in import or export laws/regulations
• Classify goods according to the tariff coding system
• Manage track maintain and review (Quality Control) all import/export information and documentation
• Coordinate goods dispatch storage and delivery
• Be able to collect and analyze current shipment data and generate reports
• Monitor export/import licenses validity and renewals
• Support operational issues regarding customs clearance or shipment delivery
• Interact with dedicated study vendors and other PSI departments as needed

Qualifications :

• Full working proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
• College/University degree - relevant areas are a plus: commerce trade international trade
• Broker/custom experience
• Experience with Import/Export operations in other CROs/Pharmaceutical companies for Chile is required; experience with other countries is a plus 
• Familiar with import/export operations process and relevant documentation
• Strong knowledge of international customs regulations import/export laws and tariff coding systems
• MS Word Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Ability to plan and work in a dynamic team environment
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage complex operational issues
