Job Summary
Process engineering and design activities for mineral processing plants including expertise in process selection equipment sizing and inter-disciplinary coordination.
Exposure to basic engineering feasibility and DPR stage projects.
Strong command over process calculations flow sheet development and equipment design.
Develop and optimize processes involving crushing grinding classification flotation gravity and magnetic separation thickening filtration and tailings handling.
Develop process designs and basic engineering deliverables for mineral processing plants.
Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) design basis and process descriptions.
Perform mass and water balance calculations equipment sizing and selection.
Provide process inputs for plant layout and CAPEX/OPEX estimation.
Coordinate with mechanical civil electrical and instrumentation teams for multidisciplinary integration.
Interface with OEMs licensors and test-work agencies during design development.
Support technical bid evaluations feasibility studies and commissioning activities.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and familiar with AutoCAD or other engineering design tools.
