The Center for the Protection and Freedom of Journalists was established on November 30, 1998 as a civil society organization that seeks to defend media freedom, provide protection for Arab journalists, address the violations they are exposed to, develop their professional skills, enable them to freely access information, change and develop legislation that imposes restrictions on their freedom, and build an environment Political, social and cultural supportive of a free and independent media.
