ECOM Cameroon Commodities is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the business in Cameroon.

About the Role

The Finance Manager plays a key role in ensuring sound financial controls accurate reporting compliance and effective financial planning while supporting informed business decision-making.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the company.

Prepare accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.

Monitor cash flow working capital receivables payables and overall financial performance.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies procedures and internal controls.

Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.

Review financial transactions and ensure appropriate documentation and approvals.

Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.

Coordinate statutory and tax compliance requirements.

Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the Country Director and Finance Controller.

Supervise coach and develop finance team members.

Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.

Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial efficiency and cost management.

Ensure compliance with applicable OHADA accounting requirements and local financial regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA CPA CIMA or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

Experience in financial reporting budgeting cash-flow management and internal controls.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.

Knowledge of OHADA accounting standards is an advantage.

Experience working in a multinational commodities agricultural or trading environment is an advantage.

Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.

Strong analytical organisational and problem-solving skills.

Must be bilingual and fluent in both English and French both verbally and in writing.
