As Head of Treasury Application Support you will lead a dedicated team overseeing the stability availability and operational integrity of treasury applications critical to trading liquidity management funding and securities activities. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Treasury Application Support team ensuring clear role definitions segregation of duties and compliance with internal policies and NBC regulatory requirements.
Ensure the availability stability and controlled operation of treasury applications supporting trading liquidity management funding and securities activities.
Act as the primary escalation point for treasury-related incidents and problems ensuring timely resolution root cause analysis and accurate reporting to Technology Risk and Treasury management.
Maintain complete auditable records of incidents problems and changes in Jira and Confluence in accordance with internal bank policies.
Ensure strict adherence to change management release control and access management procedures including privileged access control and approval workflows.
Participate in backlog grooming and prioritization for treasury application changes ensuring all changes are risk-assessed tested approved and documented prior to production deployment.
Coordinate and oversee testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing with thorough documentation for audit and regulatory review.
Collaborate closely with Treasury Risk Compliance and Internal Audit teams to support regulatory examinations audits and control assessments.
Ensure business continuity and operational resilience for treasury applications by establishing incident response procedures fallback processes and participating in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) testing.
Establish and maintain a structured knowledge base with documented procedures known issues and resolutions to promote consistency and reduce operational risk.
Requirements and Qualifications
Have at least 5 years of experience in IT Operations or Application Support preferably within banking or treasury environments.
Demonstrate experience working in a regulated financial institution with exposure to regulatory audits and internal control frameworks.
Possess a strong understanding of treasury business processes including front middle and back-office functions.
Have a good knowledge of fixed income products as well as other treasury products such as Money Market (MM) Foreign Exchange (FX) and securities trading workflows.
Show solid understanding of operational risk management incident management change control and access management processes.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with Jira Confluence or similar tools for IT Service Management and audit evidence management.
Exhibit a risk-aware and control-focused mindset aligned with NBC regulatory expectations.
Show the ability to structure and continuously improve testing documentation and operational procedures.
Possess strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with business users regulators auditors and senior management.
Have a good command of English both written and spoken sufficient for regulatory correspondence audit support and vendor communication.
