Job Summary

Leading regional emergency assessments and supporting mobile medical team deployments in coordination with township focal points.

Ensuring operational readiness at the hub including stockpiling of emergency kits team roster management and local logistics arrangements.

Managing real-time coordination with district health departments CSOs and sub-regional authorities to avoid duplication and ensure localized responsiveness.

Supporting strategic planning resource tracking and situation reporting from the regional level upward to inform central-level decision-making.

Representing SCH at regional cluster meetings humanitarian briefings and local advocacy events as needed. Reporting & Supervision

The position supervises field team leaders mobile team members and coordinates with admin/logistics and finance units in the regional office.


Qualifications :

Graduate and hold a University degree

Minimum of 3 years experience in emergency response preferably in conflict or disaster affected settings.

Proven coordination communication and project management skills.

Experience working with NGOs UN agencies and/or government coordination mechanisms.

Willingness to travel frequently and work in high-pressure or austere environments.

Working Conditions

Based in hub location with frequent field travel within the assigned region.

Flexibility to work outside of regular hours particularly during emergencies or rapid response deployments.

 

Deliverables:

Maintain and update emergency readiness indicators at the hub including team rosters supply inventory and contact directories of local actors

Prepare and submit monthly situation reports summarizing field activities coordination updates response effectiveness and challenges encountered.

Facilitate the development of a detailed budget and logistics deployment plan to support rapid procurement and delivery of emergency supplies and services in alignment with SCH procedures.
