Job Summary

Vintage Clothing Product Development Manager


Eurotex part of TexCycle Group is looking for a Vintage Clothing Product Development Manager to help us develop our vintage line as a stronger better positioned and market-driven wholesale product. We work with used clothing at scale collecting sorting grading preparing garments for reuse and trading internationally. Within this flow vintage has a specific potential: some garments carry higher value because of their brand period style fabric cut rarity cultural relevance or current market demand.


We are looking for someone who can recognize this value understand where the vintage and resale market is going and help us turn selected vintage items into clear sellable and repeatable wholesale products.


This is not a purely sales role not a purely product role and not a role for someone who only likes vintage. It requires a combination of vintage/product sense B2B market understanding customer orientation practical process thinking and commercial logic.


Your mission

Your main mission will be to connect the external vintage and resale market with our internal sorting grading product and sales processes.


You will bring the voice of the market and the customer into the company and help translate it into product categories selection criteria training materials operational requirements and commercial opportunities.


What you will do
  • Research vintage resale and second-hand markets mainly in Europe and other relevant international markets.
  • Follow what is in demand what is selling at what price levels through which channels and to what type of customers.
  • Work with current and potential customers to understand their needs in detail specific garments styles brands quality levels volumes price points and conditions.
  • Turn market information into product logic: what vintage products we should develop how they should be separated graded priced and presented.
  • Define practical selection criteria for the internal teams and help translate them into visual examples guidelines sample racks practical instructions and feedback.
  • Work closely with Sorting the Vintage team Product Department Planning Sourcing Packing Warehouse and Sales.
  • Support the commercial positioning of Eurotex as a reliable vintage wholesale supplier.


Requirements

You may be the right person if

You have experience in vintage resale second-hand clothing clothing wholesale product development merchandising buying key account management B2B sales or another related business area.


You may also be the right person if you come from another sector B2B sales key account management product management merchandising fashion buying retail marketplace business sourcing supply chain or business development but you have a strong personal interest in clothes vintage second-hand culture resale brands and markets.


You do not need to know our internal terminology from day one. What matters more is that you can combine:

  • clothes and product sense;
  • market and customer understanding;
  • business and process logic.

Key requirements

  • Very good English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience or strong practical interest in vintage second-hand resale fashion streetwear workwear sportswear denim branded clothing or clothing wholesale.
  • B2B and key account thinking.
  • Product thinking and ability to turn market signals into product lines criteria and decisions.
  • Ability to work with numbers: prices quantities stock movement sales realization margins productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams and levels in the organization.
  • Practical mindset and willingness to work close to the real process warehouses sorting areas product samples stock and operational discussions.

Location and travel

  • The role can be based in Bulgaria or in another European country depending on the candidates profile and ability to work effectively with our teams and target markets.
  • Regular travel to our teams and operations will be required. Travel to markets customers and partners will also be part of the role.
  • This is not a fully remote role. The person needs to be close enough to the real process to understand it influence it and help improve it.
