What does it take to lead engineering for a product used in some of the worlds most secure environments

This is a key leadership role responsible for a 30 person multidisciplinary engineering organization and the full lifecycle of a complex platform spanning cloud embedded systems mobile and machine learning. Youll work closely with executive leadership to define strategy scale operations and ensure consistent high-quality delivery in a mission-critical domain.

Your Responsibilities:

Setting the Engineering Direction

Define and drive the long-term engineering vision across platform AI and product innovation
Translate company strategy into clear technical priorities and execution plans
Identify opportunities to improve scalability performance and engineering efficiency
Shape how the organization evolves as the product and business scale

Owning Execution at Scale

Take full accountability for delivery across cloud platforms and device software
Establish predictable release cycles and improve how software is shipped globally
Navigate trade-offs between roadmap commitments and customer-driven demands
Ensure teams are aligned focused and delivering against business priorities

Building for Reliability Security & Trust

Elevate engineering quality through strong testing automation and best practices
Own the companys approach to security compliance and secure development
Ensure systems are resilient scalable and production-ready across environments
Drive a proactive approach to reducing incidents and improving system stability

Partnering with Customers & the Business

Act as the senior technical point of contact for key enterprise customers
Support complex deployments and ensure strong delivery in high-stakes environments
Bring customer insights into engineering and product decisions
Collaborate closely with product sales engineering and customer success teams

Leading People & Culture

Lead mentor and grow a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering organization
Build a strong leadership bench and scale teams effectively in a competitive market
Foster a culture of ownership accountability and continuous improvement
Create an environment where teams can do their best work and stay engaged long-term

Influencing at the Executive Level

Partner with global leadership on strategy roadmap and new product initiatives
Represent engineering in executive discussions with clear data-driven insights
Contribute to key decisions around technology partnerships and growth
Align engineering capabilities with broader business objectives

What Were Looking For:

12 years in software engineering including 5 years in senior leadership roles
Experience leading large multidisciplinary engineering teams (25 people)
Proven track record delivering enterprise SaaS / cloud platforms ideally alongside hardware or embedded systems
Strong experience with release management at scale and complex production environments
Solid background in quality engineering security and compliance practices
Experience working with enterprise customers and managing high-stakes escalations
Strong leadership presence and communication skills in a global environment

Nice to Have:

Background in security biometrics IoT or AI-driven products
Experience working with ML or computer vision teams
Exposure to hardware-software integrated platforms
Experience in international or US-headquartered organizations
