The impact you will create:
- Establish testing governance driving a shift-left culture and building robust automated test structuresOptimizing CI/CD pipelines enhancing code coverage and ensuring high product quality through optimal test engineering.
- Test Strategy & Governance: Define and maintain clear rules and boundaries for our test frameworks to ensure consistency and eliminate redundant testing setups.
- Shift-Left Implementation: Restructure test execution to shift testing earlier in the development lifecycle and dependency chain catching defects before they reach staging environments.
- Infrastructure Engineering: Build reusable testing primitives and automated scaffolding to enable developers to provision and OpenStack and internal API test environments efficiently.
- Automated Evaluation: Replace manual analysis with automated test reporting and evaluation tools to ensure scalable reliable feedback loops.
- Pipeline Optimization: Design efficient test suites that improve meaningful code coverage while minimizing pipeline execution time and resource consumption.
Experience and skills you will need:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing test architectures for complex software systems.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD methodology and shift-left testing principles.
- Solid understanding of OpenStack and API concepts to build effective test primitives.
- Proven ability to optimize test coverage vs. execution time.
- Experience in coding and scripting (e.g. Python Go) for test automation and infrastructure management.
