Job Summary

Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland as well as Schwarz Production and PreZero. At the same time we operate as an independent provider in the external market to support companies across Europe in their digital transformation. The impact You will create:

You drive the design and development of a brand new DNS product for our distributed cloud offering.
You work on a digital-sovereign European cloud provider following the highest security scalability and reliability standards.
You help deliver a scalable secure and stable product to our customers.
You continuously automate and optimize all technical processes.
You conduct problem and error analyses and identify sustainable solutions.
You are part of the NeoNephos CNCF organization: the largest EU open source community for cloud computing.

Experience and skills You will need:

You are an experienced developer with expertise in Golang.
You have a comprehensive understanding of the DNS protocol.
You have proficiency in developing and deploying software with Kubernetes Docker Helm and a good understanding of virtualization frameworks such as KubeVirt KVM.
You have experience developing Kubernetes operators and are familiar with their architecture.
You possess deep knowledge of the Cloud Native landscape specifically components within the CNCF ecosystem.
You are skilled in interface and communication technologies such as REST gRPC etc.
You are a hands-on problem solver with a solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
Knowledge of CoreDNS and familiarity with Talos Cilium and Ceph are considered a plus.
