We are seeking Russian-Speaking Content Moderators to join our team on-site in Sofia Bulgaria.
In this role you will review evaluate and moderate user-generated digital content to maintain platform integrity user safety and brand protection. You will process text images and video content in accordance with established safety policies and community guidelines ensuring that harmful or non-compliant content is identified and handled appropriately.
This is a full-time fully on-site role based in Sofia operating on a 24/7 rotational shift schedule. No prior content moderation experience is required; comprehensive initial training will be provided upon joining.
- Content Review & Evaluation: Audit text visual and multimedia content submitted by users to verify adherence to platform terms of service and content policies.
- Policy Enforcement: Objectively flag reject escalate or approve flagged user content using established protocol workflows and moderation software.
- Safety & Compliance Monitoring: Identify non-compliant media including spam fraudulent activity hate speech copyright violations and explicit material.
- Workflow Reporting: Maintain accurate records of content decisions and log policy exceptions or trends via internal ticketing tools.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing quality assurance sessions platform policy updates and operational standard reviews.
- Work Authorization: Must possess valid legal documentation/work rights permitting full-time employment in Bulgaria at the time of application (EU/EEA Citizenship Permanent Residency or a valid Bulgarian Work Permit). Sponsorship is not provided for this opening.
- Russian: fluent or Fluent proficiency (C1/C2 level) in written and spoken Russian to evaluate nuanced content context accurately.
- English: Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate proficiency (B2 level minimum) to follow technical instructions policy documentation systems UI and internal team communications.
- Location: 100% On-Site working from our office facility in Sofia. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
- Shift Availability: Willingness to work a 24/7 rotational roster covering 5 days per week 8 hours per day (40 hours/week standard). Shifts include morning afternoon night and weekend rotations on a scheduled basis.
- Comfort working with internet platforms digital media formats and basic web-based applications.
- Ability to remain objective impartial and focused while evaluating sensitive or explicit content.
- Solid communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in moderation customer service or tech support is a plus but NOT mandatory.
- Base Gross Salary: 1350 Gross per month.
- Shift Allowances: Additional shift premiums/bonuses provided in accordance with local Bulgarian labor code regulations for night shifts weekend work and public holiday hours.
