Position Overview
TheManagerofQuality Health Safety & Environment leads the local responsible forensuring product quality process compliance supplier quality workplacesafetyand environmental compliance across the manufacturing operations
What you will do
- Quality and HSETeamLeadership
- Leads the QHSE function within the manufacturing plant.
- Managesdevelopsand supports thelocalteam
- Defines priorities assignsresponsibilitiesandmonitorsthe performance of the team.
- Ensures effective cooperation between Quality HSE Production Engineering Supply ChainProcurementand other relevant functions.
- Promotes a strong culture of quality safetycomplianceand continuous improvement across the organization.
- Quality Management System and Standards
- Develops implementsmaintainsand continuously improves the companys Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001dormakabastandards and applicable customer requirements.
- Acts as Management Representative for ISO 9001.
- Ensures compliance with applicable productprocessand safety standards including EN 16005 / DIN 18650 where relevant.
- Develops andmaintainsquality procedures policies workinstructionsand control processes.
- Ensures that all projectsproductsand processescomply withdefineddormakabaquality standards
- Manufacturing Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Oversees quality assurance and quality control activities for incoming materials components work-in-progressand finished goods.
- Ensures that production processes aremonitoredandcomply withapproved quality standards control plans workinstructionsand customer requirements.
- Identifiesquality risks in production and ensurestimelyimplementation of preventive and corrective actions.
- Supports Production and Engineering in resolving quality issues improving processstabilityand reducing defectsscrapand rework.
- Ensures that non-conforming products and processes are properlyidentified analyzedcontainedand resolved.
- Supplier Quality and Cross-functional Cooperation
- Cooperates closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to define communicate andmonitorquality requirements for external suppliers.
- Supports supplier evaluation supplierauditsand supplier development activities.
- Ensures effective follow-up of supplier-related quality issues including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Facilitates cross-functional alignment on quality topics with Production Engineering Procurement SupplyChainand other departments.
- Audits Compliance and Corrective Actions
- Plans coordinates and manages internal audits externalauditsand supplier audits.
- Ensurestimelyfollow-up and closure of audit findings.
- Leads or supports root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions related to audits customer complaints internal non-conformitiesand supplier issues.
- Monitors compliance with internal procedures group requirements legalregulationsand applicable standards.
- Customer Complaints and Quality Performance
- Oversees the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
- Ensures that all customer complaints are reviewedanalyzedand closed within agreed timelines.
- Drives sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Monitors and reports key quality indicators including customer complaints internal defects scrap rework auditfindingsand supplier performance.
- Health Safety and Environment Management
- Ensures the implementation and monitoring of healthsafetyand environmental standardsin accordance withlocal legislation groupdirectivesand company policies.
- Oversees HSE risk assessments preventivemeasuresand improvement actions within the manufacturing site.
- Ensures that safe working practices are implemented and followed across production and supporting functions.
- Supports initiatives for accident prevention environmentalprotectionand continuous improvement of working conditions.
- Ensures proper reporting and follow-up of HSE incidentsobservationsand corrective actions.
- Training Awareness and Continuous Improvement
- Develops and implements training programs related to quality healthsafetyand environment for employees and where applicable suppliers.
- Ensures that employees are trainedonrelevant procedures standards qualityrequirementsand safe working practices.
- Supports the development of an organizational framework and culture in which Lean Management and continuous improvement initiatives are actively promoted.
- Drives initiativesto improve process efficiency reducewasteand strengthen quality and safety awareness.
What we require
- Minimum 57 years of experience in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 23 yearsof peoplemanagement experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001 audits customer complaints correctiveactionsand supplier quality.
- Experience with HSE topics and Lean / continuous improvement is an advantage.
- University degree in Engineering Quality Management IndustrialManagementor related field.
- ISO 9001 / audit qualification is an advantage.
- HSE or Lean / Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing quality processes.
- Good understanding of audits root cause analysis correctiveactionsand KPI reporting.
- Leadershipcommunicationand cross-functional coordination skills.
- Very goodEnglish and MS Office skills
- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Structuredanalyticaland solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead and develop a team.
- Proactive attitude attention to detail and focus on compliance
