The Opportunity

As a Manufacturing Production Manager at HITACHI ENERGY BULGARIA EOOD you will lead and optimize production operations to ensure efficient high-quality and cost-effective manufacturing of our energy products.

How youll make an impact:

• Oversee all aspects of the production process from raw material to finished goods ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards;
• Manage motivate and develop a team of production supervisors and operators fostering a culture of safety continuous improvement and high performance;
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles driving efficiency waste reduction and process optimization;
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output quality metrics and cost targets taking corrective actions as needed;
• Collaborate with other departments including R&D Quality Supply Chain and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and problem resolution;
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations company policies and environmental standards;
• Develop and manage the production budget controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation;
• Identify and implement new technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality;
• Conduct regular performance reviews for team members providing feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

Your background:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Production) or a related technical field. Masters degree is a plus;
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing management role preferably in the energy or heavy industry sector;
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing production teams;
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools;
• Excellent understanding of production planning scheduling and inventory control;
• Demonstrated ability to analyze production data identify trends and implement effective solutions;
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Bulgarian is an advantage.
