Junior Software Engineer – Enterprise Applications

Brief:

Support LDCs OneStream-based EPM platform from Sofia as a core technical engineer delivering deep configuration performance optimization rule development troubleshooting and technical platform stability. This role contributes directly to building the EPM Center of Excellence enabling scalable operations technical autonomy and long-term value creation across Daily P&L Actuals Forecasting Group Reporting and future EPM roadmap components.

The resource will join at a key moment (platform ramp-up and CoE build) work closely with experienced internal and external experts and quickly take ownership of meaningful technical components that directly impact Finance performance and operational efficiency.

You will:

• Develop and enhance business rules calculations workflows and data transformation processes.
• Support financial reporting forecasting planning and performance management solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and investigate data quality or integration challenges.
• Work with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance and improve reliability of financial processes.
• Participate in testing releases and deployments across development and production environments.
• Create technical documentation support guides and reusable development standards.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders implementation partners and internal technology teams.
• Contribute to the growth of the EPM Center of Excellence and help build future best practices.

What Were Looking For

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Mathematics Economics Finance Technology or related field.

Experience

• Proven hands-on software development experience gained through professional employment or long-term internships.
• Experience developing testing and maintaining business applications and technical solutions.
• Practical programming experience is a core requirement for this role. Academic exposure alone is not sufficient.
• Experience developing solutions in is highly preferred.
• Candidates without experience should demonstrate solid professional experience in comparable object-oriented programming languages such as C# Java or similar technologies with the ability to quickly transition to .
• Experience with OneStream SAP Oracle NetSuite Power BI Tableau ETL tools or similar platforms is considered an advantage but is not required.

Technical Skills

Strong coding and scripting capabilities are the primary focus of this role.

Relevant skills include

• Demonstrated hands-on development experience with or equivalent experience with other object-oriented languages such as C# Java -based technologies.
• Ability to develop debug optimize and maintain business rules calculations workflows integrations and application logic within enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals including object-oriented programming code quality testing exception handling and maintainability.
• SQL and database fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose sustainable solutions.
• Experience working with APIs integrations data transformation and automation processes is a plus.

Preferred skills include

• Experience with OneStream business rules Extenders Dashboard Extenders Connector Business Rules or similar configurable platform technologies.
• Experience with finance applications ERP platforms or enterprise performance management solutions.
