FIS ALS Techno-Functional Consultant
Job Summary
- Location: Onsite/hybrid Dublin Ireland. Remote considered for candidates based elsewhere in Europe subject to client approval.
- Engagement: Contract long-term
- Day rate: TBC confirmed on application
- Right to work: Right to work in Ireland or the EU required. No sponsorship available on this engagement.
- Hands-on FIS ALS experience. This is a hard requirement and cannot be substituted by general lending experience.
- 8 years experience the majority in mortgage or consumer lending loan servicing escrow default management and collections.
- Working knowledge of the mainframe stack underpinning ALS: COBOL JCL DB2 CICS.
- Specification craft: Business Requirement Documents Functional Requirement Documents functional and technical specifications acceptance criteria current- and future-state process mapping.
- Requirements elicitation through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Ability to specify interfaces batch processing file-based feeds and data mapping between ALS core banking and treasury systems.
- SQL and RDBMS concepts sufficient to validate your own analysis.
- Experience delivering regulatory and compliance-driven lending change.
- Experience across tiered environments: Dev Test UAT Pre-Production Production and DR.
- Prior work on ALS upgrades patches or FIS vendor releases.
- Experience on a mainframe modernisation or platform migration programme.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Run workshops interviews and requirement elicitation sessions.
- Analyse current- and future-state lending processes.
- Produce BRDs FRDs and user stories with acceptance criteria and business rules.
- Analyse ALS functionality across loan servicing escrow default management and customer account management.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing lending processes and downstream systems.
- Support ALS upgrade and enhancement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications for development.
- Analyse system interfaces and data flows.
- Work with developers on batch processing file-based interfaces integrations and data mapping and transformation.
- Support solution design discussions and release activity through to production.
- Long-term engagement on a high-visibility lending transformation programme.
- Onsite/hybrid working in Dublin or remote within Europe subject to client approval.
