AI Automation Engineer – Sports Betting, Remote

CloserHire is partnering with a fast-growing international technology company within the sports betting and iGaming industry to recruit an AI Automation Engineer for their team in Sofia Bulgaria. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to use AI intelligent automation and modern integration technologies to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. You will design and implement AI-powered workflows connect internal and external systems and help embed generative AI and automation across different areas of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain
• AI-powered automation solutions and workflows
• Identify repetitive or inefficient processes that can be improved through
• AI and automation
• Build integrations between internal platforms
• APIs databases and third-party services
• Develop solutions using
• LLMs generative
• AI and AI APIs Build and maintain automated workflows using tools such as n8n
• Make Zapier or similar platforms
• Develop custom scripts and services using
• Python and/or
• JavaScript/TypeScript Integrate AI models into existing products internal tools and operational processes
• Build AI agents and intelligent workflows for tasks such as data processing reporting customer operations and internal productivity
• Work with APIs webhooks databases and event-driven integrations
• Develop effective prompts and structured workflows for reliable
• LLM-based applications
• Monitor automation performance and continuously improve accuracy reliability and efficiency
• Implement appropriate safeguards around data privacy security and responsible
• AI usage
• Collaborate with Engineering Product Operations Marketing and other business teams to understand automation requirements
• Research emerging
• AI technologies and evaluate their potential application within the business
• Document automation processes integrations and technical solutions

Requirements:

• Professional experience in AI automation software engineering integration engineering or a similar technical role
• Hands-on experience working with generative
• AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) Experience integrating
• AI services and APIs into applications or business workflows
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or
• JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with automation platforms such as n8n
• Make Zapier Power Automate or similar
• Strong understanding of REST APIs webhooks
• JSON and system integrations
• Experience working with databases and data-processing workflows
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as prompt engineering
• RAG embeddings vector databases and AI agents is highly advantageous
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP is an advantage
• Familiarity with Git CI/CD Docker and modern software development practices
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into automated technical solutions
• Ability to independently prototype test and deploy new solutions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good command of English Previous experience within sports betting iGaming fintech or another technology-driven industry is an advantage
