CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept help our clients build new products nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. You will join the team behind a leading network source-of-truth (NSoT) platform used by thousands of organizations - from fast-growing tech companies to Fortune 500 enterprises - to model document and automate their network infrastructure.
CodiLime engineers work within the platforms Assurance & Integrations area building and extending the integrations that connect the platform to third-party network systems and controllers - such as Cisco Meraki VMware vCenter Juniper Mist and Infoblox. These integrations run as lightweight discovery agents that securely connect to a customers infrastructure continuously identifying devices interfaces and the relationships between them. The discovered data is then delivered through the platforms declarative data ingestion API.
The platform is built AI-first with its own Claude Code agent skills and MCP server and that mindset carries over to how the team works: AI-assisted development is actively cultivated day to day to help the team move fast and consistently land high-quality results.
The scale is significant - some of the platforms largest customers manage hundreds of thousands of devices each with multiple interfaces across globally distributed environments. As the integration ecosystem keeps expanding to new vendors and use cases the team is growing and were looking for another Senior Software Engineer to help build whats next.
Technology stack:

As a part of the project team you will be responsible for:
Designing building and maintaining integrations that connect the platform to third-party network systems and controllers
Developing discovery agents/workers that securely connect to customer infrastructure and extract device interface and topology data
Building and maintaining the services and APIs that deliver discovered data into the platforms declarative ingestion layer
Writing and maintaining unit tests (pytest) and contributing to E2E test automation (Playwright running in Docker Compose via CI)
Exploring and applying AI-assisted engineering practices - such as interactive Claude Code-driven testing flows - to make development and testing faster and more reliable
Collaborating closely with a small cross-functional engineering team
Proposing and helping ship your own ideas for improving the platform beyond your core integration work
Contributing to architecture and design decisions as the integrations platform scales to new vendors and larger deployments
Writing clean maintainable well-tested code and participating in code reviews
As a Senior Software Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
Strong professional experience with Python
Hands-on everyday use of AI coding tools (ideally Claude Code) in your engineering workflow
Experience building and maintaining integrations or APIs (REST)
Experience with gRPC is a strong plus
Solid unit testing experience ideally with pytest
Fluency and experience with Docker Docker Compose
Experience with Kubernetes
Working understanding of core networking concepts: IP vs MAC VLANs VRFs DNS BGP ACLs
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL)
Comfortable in a startup-like fast-paced proactive environment
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana and/or Prometheus)
CI/CD experience (ideally GitHub Actions)
Experience with Cloud computing (Ideally AWS e.g. EC2 S3 EKS)
Good knowledge of English (minimum C1 level)
Beyond the criteria above we would appreciate the following nice-to-haves:
Experience with Go
Experience with MQTT
Familiarity with FastAPI
Experience with Swagger and/or Postman
Experience with Playwright or other E2E testing frameworks
