Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
End-to-end operations leadership: Own daily operations ensuring execution across all operational processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Inbound management: Oversee receiving workflows ensuring accuracy in product intake vendor compliance and inventory reconciliation upon arrival.
Outbound management: Lead picking packing and dispatch processes to meet delivery speed SLAs while maintaining order accuracy and quality standards.
Inventory quality & accuracy: Implement and monitor stock quality controls including cycle counts expiration management damage prevention and shrinkage reduction to guarantee inventory accuracy at all times.
Process design & standardization: Define document and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will serve as the operational blueprint for network-wide expansion across Brazil.
Scalability & expansion readiness: Build repeatable scalable operational frameworks designed to be deployed in new Dark Store locations with minimal ramp-up time directly enabling Amazon Brasils network growth strategy.
Continuous improvement: Identify inefficiencies implement Kaizen-driven improvements and leverage data to optimize throughput reduce defects and improve cost-per-unit metrics.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain Transportation Technology and Category teams to ensure seamless integration between upstream/downstream operations and the Dark Store.
A day in the life
You start your morning reviewing overnight performance metrics order volume cancellation rates delivery times and inventory accuracy identifying any gaps before the team hits the floor. By mid-morning youre walking the Dark Store observing inbound receiving in action coaching associates on stow accuracy and troubleshooting bottlenecks in the pick-and-pack flow. After lunch youre deep in data: analyzing defect trends running root-cause sessions on quality misses and refining SOPs that will be replicated across future sites. You close the day in cross-functional syncs with Supply Chain and Transportation aligning on replenishment cadence and last-mile handoff improvements. No two days look the same but every day youre building the operational playbook that will power Amazon Brazils expansion.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
- Experience managing teams
- Experience in communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in Portuguese & English
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System Software including Warehouse control systems
- Experience in business process improvement Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience launching new operational sites or expanding fulfillment networks
