Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mid-level Developer (3 years experience) to help design build and improve our business-critical AI-enabled systems.
This role focuses primarily on the Zoho Ecosystem automation and complex integration with third-party systems supporting our Ecommerce operations and internal workflows. In addition this position plays an important role in advancing the organizations use of AI-assisted development practices and AI-powered business solutions.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and Development Team Lead to deliver scalable reliable solutions that align with business and departmental goals. Were looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems thinks in systems and takes ownership of delivering clean and dependable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Assisted Development (core)
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code is our standard) as a primary part of daily development; generation refactoring debugging testing reviewing output critically
- Build and maintain AI-powered automations across the stack: quote drafting CS responses reporting SLA flagging
- Support LLM API and prompt work; contribute to the teams standard AI workflow
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions including LLM-based features agents and workflow automations that improve business efficiency and introduce new functionality.
Development and Architecture
- Develop and maintain advanced automations using Deluge
- Architect scalable workflows and maintain system-wide data integrity
- Optimize performance reliability and maintainability of existing systems
Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations between internal and external platforms including Zoho BigCommerce and other eCommerce and operational systems evaluating those integrations for improvements and efficiencies.
- Work with REST APIs JSON Webhooks and secure authentication methods
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-platform issues
Collaboration and Delivery
- Work with the Project Manager and the Development Team Lead to plan and prioritize work
- Translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions
- Provide realistic time estimates and deliver dependable results
- Provide mentorship and counsel to more junior developers
Documentation and Quality
- Write appropriate documentation for new projects and features
- Maintain clear documentation of the system and all integrations
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Improve existing processes through automation
- Ensure systems remain secure stable and scalable
- Participate in and document development-level testing efforts on project and fix work
Required Skills:
Required Qualifications 3-4 years of professional development experience Building ETL/ELT pipelines transforming data and processing datasets. PHP ( AI development) Data Warehouse / Big Query Solid knowledge of deluge scripting Basic to intermediate experience with API integrations Understanding of REST APIs JSON and Webhooks Strong problem solving and debugging skills Strong experience with Claude and AI-enabled systems Preferred / Bonus Skills Experience with: o Laravel o o Python (AI development & data engineering) Familiarity with: o BigCommerce o ShipStation o Avalara o Ecommerce platforms Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Logical and structured thinking Solid collaboration skills Proven ability to work independently Willingness to learn and grow Good communication skills (both Technical and Non-Technical) Reliable and accountable
