Purpose of the Role
As a Cyber Trainer within the clients Cyber Security Training division youwill deliver hands-on cybersecurity training entirely online to learners at alllevels - from individuals entering the industry to experienced professionalsseeking certification. You will guide learners through practicallabs real-world scenarios and structured curriculum content helping thembuild the skills needed to succeed in modern cyber roles. You will supportlearners individually in a virtual environment and ensure that all trainingmaterials remain aligned with current cyber threats technologies andindustry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging cybersecurity training sessions toapprentices early-career learners and experienced professionals.
- Teach core cyber topics including network security threat analysisincident response vulnerability management and secureconfiguration.
- Support learners through hands-on labs exercises assessmentsand real-world simulations.
- Prepare learners for industry certifications and related qualifications.
- Provide coaching mentoring and constructive feedback to helplearners progress confidently.
- Maintain accurate learner records progress tracking and assessmentdocumentation.
- Collaborate with curriculum and training teams to update andenhance course materials.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training delivery contentquality and learner experience.
- Ensure training reflects current cyber trends emerging threats andbest practices.
- Experience with strong up-to-date expertise across areas such asCloud Security Application Security Secure Coding AI Security &Governance DFIR Offensive Security Vulnerability Assessment &Penetration Testing Information Security Management Privacy andSecurity Risk.
- Subject Matter expert (SME) keen to transition into a specialist trainerrole or a Professional Trainer
- Broad understanding of security frameworks and pathways () and the ability to maintain subject expertise through continuousprofessional development.
- Proven hands-on information security experience with the ability totranslate complex technical concepts into clear practical learning.
- Experience designing developing or delivering technical training orlearning events (ideal but not essential).
- Confident in client-facing interactions and able to collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams (Delivery OperationsCurriculum).
- Proficient in English
