3. What Youll Do
As a Cash Applications Intern you will support the Accounts Receivable team by helping ensure customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities may include:
- Apply incoming customer payments to accounts accurately and on time.
- Assist with reconciling bank transactions customer remittances and account balances.
- Investigate and help resolve payment discrepancies in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Support month-end and routine accounts receivable activities as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Learn and follow established financial controls policies and procedures.
4. What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Economics or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting or financial principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite SAP Oracle or similar platforms.
- Previous internship academic project or work experience related to finance accounting or business operations.
- Experience working with data analysis reporting or financial reconciliations.
