DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

The Associate Director PMO will lead and support enterprise transformation initiatives by providing program governance portfolio oversight strategic planning and execution management across cross-functional projects. This role partners with business leaders functional stakeholders and project teams to ensure transformation programs are delivered on time within scope and aligned with organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong PMO leadership change management capability strategic thinking and operational execution experience in complex matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities
Transformation Program Management
  • Lead and oversee strategic transformation initiatives across business functions.
  • Establish program structure governance frameworks delivery methodologies and execution standards.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects within the transformation portfolio.
  • Track milestones dependencies risks issues and critical decisions across programs.
  • Ensure alignment between transformation objectives and business strategy.
PMO Governance & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain PMO governance processes tools templates and reporting standards.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings executive reviews and status reporting.
  • Provide portfolio-level visibility into program health resource utilization budget and KPIs.
  • Drive accountability across workstreams and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with senior leaders business teams IT operations finance HR and external partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to program sponsors and leadership teams.
  • Influence decision-making and drive alignment across competing priorities.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Support organizational change management activities related to transformation programs.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Promote adoption of standardized project management methodologies and tools.
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Risk & Financial Management
  • Monitor program budgets forecasts and resource plans.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks and escalations proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and governance standards.

Required
  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Life Sciences Operations or related field.
  • 812 years of experience in PMO program management transformation or strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of project/program management methodologies (Waterfall Agile Hybrid).
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in matrix organizations.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
