Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Spa & Wellness Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Maun Botswana. This is an exciting opportunity for a wellness professional with a strong background in spa operations guest relations and team leadership to oversee a high-end spa facility and deliver exceptional wellness experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the spa maintaining excellent treatment and service standards leading the spa team and ensuring that every guest enjoys a personalised and relaxing experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong business and operational skills with a genuine passion for wellness holistic treatments and luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  

• Manage motivate and develop the spa team including therapists and support staff.
  

• Ensure that all treatments and wellness services are delivered to exceptional standards.
  

• Maintain a professional welcoming and tranquil spa environment that reflects the lodges luxury positioning.
  

• Coordinate spa bookings treatment schedules and guest requests.
  

• Recommend suitable treatments and wellness experiences based on individual guest preferences.
  

• Monitor guest feedback and resolve complaints or concerns professionally.
  

• Develop spa treatment menus wellness packages and seasonal promotions where appropriate.
  

• Manage stock levels ordering and inventory for spa products equipment and treatment supplies.
  

• Monitor departmental budgets treatment revenue and operational costs.
  

• Ensure that all spa facilities treatment rooms and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  

• Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene requirements.
  

• Provide ongoing training and guidance to the spa team to maintain consistent service standards.
  

• Work closely with lodge management and other departments to coordinate guest experiences and special requests.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve the spa offering increase revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
  

• Maintain accurate records treatment schedules and relevant operational reports.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Spa Manager Spa & Wellness Manager or senior spa management role.
  

• A relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy Somatology Wellness or a related field.
  

• Strong knowledge of spa treatments wellness therapies and luxury spa operations.
  

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  

• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
  

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  

• Experience with spa bookings stock control budgeting and revenue management.
  

• A professional appearance and a calm approachable manner.
  

• A genuine passion for wellness holistic treatments and personalised guest experiences.
  

• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a remote lodge environment.
  

• Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required.
  

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel safari lodge or high-end wellness establishment would be advantageous.
  

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
