A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Hospitality Trainer to join a luxury safari operation based in Maun with frequent travel to lodges throughout the Okavango Delta.
The Hospitality Trainer will be responsible for elevating hospitality standards across Botswana through training coaching mentoring and skills development.
Youll work closely with lodge management and teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences consistent service standards and a strong culture of learning and accountability.
- Identify training needs across lodges and departments
- Develop and deliver practical hospitality training programmes
- Conduct regular lodge visits and provide hands-on coaching
- Mentor and develop lodge teams and future leaders
- Support onboarding and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain training records skills matrices and development plans
- Monitor service standards and identify operational improvement opportunities
- Provide feedback and training reports to management
- Support succession planning and leadership development
- Keep training programmes aligned with current hospitality trends
- 10 years hospitality experience
- Previous experience in training L&D hospitality management or operational leadership
- Luxury lodge hotel or safari experience highly advantageous
- Proven ability to train and coach employees at all levels
- Qualification in Hospitality Management Training & Development Education or related field
- Trainer/Facilitator certification advantageous
- Excellent communication presentation and facilitation skills
- Passion for developing people and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Highly organised self-motivated and professional
- Comfortable travelling extensively between lodges
