SCW Secretary-General among women of influence in Arab world 2021

Hala Al Ansari, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, has been named one of the Women of Influence in the Arab World 2021 by the international CEO Magazine.

Al Ansari was honored for her contributions to creating and implementing strategies, programs, and projects to advance Bahraini women and maintain female representation in diverse fields.

According to the magazine, Al Ansari seeks to track the execution of the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Bahraini Women and the National Gender Balance Model, where she helped to introduce and enforce a multi-faceted approach.

Al Ansari has worked in both the public and private sectors. She began her career in telecommunications and later rose to Head of Media Affairs at Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King's Office. She was assigned the Supreme Council for Women's Secretary-General.

She is a member of several national and international institutions and committees.

Al Ansari holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Golden Gate University in the US and a diploma in leadership from the University of Oxford.

The women on this year's Arab world and Middle East list have significantly impacted their countries' corporate and social environments.

The magazine is based on a simple metric that tests women's attempts to promote gender equality in identifying the most prominent women.

The chosen women have diligently committed to society's leadership through example, empowerment, motivation, and serving as a force for good.
